As an icon, it is sometimes used a seal of protection to ward off malevolence and impurity. It is a celebrated image in modern pagan, Solomonic, Indian, and Islamic traditions.

Absolutely gorgeous :) The pendant has a beautiful polished finish and is the perfect size. Not too small, but still discreet. I can wear it to work without having customers question why I wear a pentagram on my necklace. Simple yet stunning.
